TAG Turns The Michael A. Hughes Memorial Library From Tragedy To Triumph

The Michael A. Hughes Memorial Library begun in 1993 in a small classroom in Long Island encouraging students to read and has grown to become one of the leading non-profit organizations creating a platform for disadvantaged students to read and to become closer to their families.

TAG’s intial approach to this organization was to form an alliance with a well-respected university as a means to offer scholarships to deserving students to the universities children summer reading camp.

The result of offering these scholarships created one of the most robust word-of-mouth campaign that it now receives support and donation from companies all over Long Island giving more and more students the chance to read and excel in their educations.
